Last blogged @ 2:04 AM I have come to the point where I have unofficially graduated from SP. It's been a whole 3 years, doing countless tutorials, projects and presentations, studying for so so many tests and exams and now... time flies (or actually not, because during this 3 years, I / we have waited for this day for so long - from 36 months of school to now, 0) and it's time I'm going to leave SP. Truthfully speaking, it's more of excitement and anticipation rather than sadness.
Entering SP wasn't because I liked it. I've never knew how it looked like until I stepped into the school for the first time after posting results were out. But entering events was my 1st choice, which pretty much decided that I have to enter SP. I was not excited for my first day or orientation / school (I still am not excited if I have to go back to school now). I made my first friend, Cherlyn, through Facebook. I still remember what I wore (and was proud that I had nice clothes to wear), when we had our first break together at FC2, meeting new friends outside and inside class, getting lost in ABE because of the rain. Oh gosh, we still do get lost in school after 3 years nonetheless. Came new lecturers who scared us on our first day of school by telling us that Events is everything, but easy. And came pouring assignments which definitely made us all feel that we chose the wrong course. I remember feeling ridiculously homesick with my friends when in school, and telling mum that I wanted to change my course. But I guess all became better after a semester, though we never broke the habit of going home straight after school throughout all 3 years. Naturally, days passed and finding clothes to wear became a chore. Trying to avoid repetitive clothes just resulted in atrocious fashion sense. Sigh what was I even thinking... Wanting to not wear slippers because it was "unsightly" and "disrespectful" just became too much of a bother. CCAs were bothersome. They started late and ended late. Or started really early and didn't give me CCA points lol. Wanted to find something that interest me, but I guess I didn't really care after that. I just wanted to go home and sleep everyday, yupp. Applying for Gems was never pleasant. They were scary and felt a whole lot like taking a roller coaster ride. Waking up early in the morning to camp in front of the computer, to see your desired elective being stolen by other idiots, sigh. And you had to settle for something you didn't want to, and struggle week after week, while being in a class full of unfamiliar faces and awkwardness. Those people never became your friends and you never ever see or talk to them around in school. So, managing to finish my Dip Plus course is probably one of the few proud assets I have. Other than that, I guess school was just coming for lessons, having lunch breaks, fooling around in class, sleeping in class, then taking a long train ride home.  Throughout the 3 years, our class wasn't really close and was really quiet, so we stuck to our own cliques most of the time. We've been through group politics, and ultimately the ones that stuck through with me were Bimchies ;) 
Every school day, we'll meet, without fail at the Love Bridge, before we go to class together (other than times when Naz would be late lol). We did every single group project together, went for lunches together, did events together and celebrated birthdays together. I also had my first overseas trip with Cherlyn and Naz and it was mad fun. We ended each test and exam with celebratory meals, talked about stupid stuff and shared gossips. Together, we wrote new year wishes on white wishing balls which were thrown into the Singapore river. And we literally grew old(er) together.
Apart from my already very boring life in school, interestingly enough, I got to know the boyf. Yeah true enough people say I might have known him because he's my neighbour yada yada. But SP did play a part in creating chances for him to meet me (and vice versa) ^^ Otherwise, why would we not have met 10 years ago! So thank you SP for giving me a traveling partner to school and back, and letting me meet my boyf so at least I have some additional fond memories.

And other than that, I'm thankful for having to be in DEPM 02 for the past 3 years. We never did many things as a class, other than our few gatherings for site visits and an overseas KL trip. As much as we always have differing opinions, but I wouldn't imagine myself being in another class where I may not have fit in as well.
 
Sigh, look at how much older and different we've grown.
While poly hasn't been very fruitful and interesting, I still wouldn't have chosen the JC path back then. Despite everything, I've appreciated what I've learnt and truly gained a lot, I wouldn't really want to trade them for anything else.
There's so much more that I've done, so much more I've to say, but really, it's impossible to describe it all in one post.

Last blogged @ 11:24 PM I know I should be studying / reading my notes / memorising facts and NOT be blogging, but I'm so bored from reading the same thing over and over again.
And guess what? I have not successfully memorised everything I need to ensure a distinction for this module. - It's been a mad week of studying econs!!! Been meeting up with Jasmine, Karen and Ying Xuan the past week to study at Coffee Club, Starbucks and Coffee Bean. LOL.  The day we studied at Starbucks, we were sitting outside, and we were close to the smoking area, so I think I almost died from the sweltering heat + lung-cancer-causing-cigar-smoke. Oh, and wouldn't smoking on a hot day make you feel even warmer?  And my question is, exactly how many guys do not smoke? - Anyway, 2 more days to seeing Mike He! But I haven't found anyone to accompany me! I hope Vivian can make it!!! And Clarissa never reply me! So, I've been preparing myself mentally, just in case I cannot see Mike He, I won't be too sad. And 8 more days till I jet off to Taiwan!!! Meanwhile, let me study hard. My dear GPA, here I come!!!

Last blogged @ 12:45 AM I like how my days are packed cos it makes my life so meaningful.
And by saying packed it means doing things I enjoy, and not studying ONLY. A couple of things that I've done today. Went to get Sherlyn's belated birthday present so I got her the elizabeth arden perfume. Then rushed down to the airport to study with Tzu Ying and Jaime and Sherlyn (who joined us later). Spent almost $30 bucks there!!! :( Oh my money~~~  Cakes that we ordered. Cheng's present!!!   And after Jong and Haziq came, we left to Gwee's house for her 18th Birthday Celebration ^^  This is her birthday present that we painstakingly chose and bought!  Lots of people so I stayed around with the girls. Camwhored a little but the photos are all with Jong. Wait till she upload the photos then you guys can go facebook and see ^^ Missed CNY visiting tonight but still managed to collect some angbaos! ^^ Gonna have another function tomorrow over at my house. Gonna expect lots of relatives whom I'll probably have met / have not met before. Happy only cos got more angbaos ^^ This is the first time in 8 years that I've collected so much angbaos. Like shiok only. I like having things to look forward to. Who doesn't huh?

Last blogged @ 2:50 AM Some quick updates! It's almost 3am in the morning now and I'm trying to churn out my CRS script! Feeling very optimistic about the final product! Hur hur. So what have I done for the entire Saturday? I've got 8 freaking projects to complete. Most presentations are due before CNY, and since I'll be away, I've to complete them before the following week ends. Very productive Saturday, I would say, by meeting up with Yin Xuan, Jasmine and Karen to study! Totally bunked in at TCC for entire 9 hours struggling to complete my assignments. I managed to finish EPI, Web Expression and half of my CRS Script. Dip Plus project, till now is a complete failure. Thankfully the rest of the projects (Marketing, IDEAs, IT Proj) are half done, thanks to my awesome girls! Autocadd hasn't been good too. Whenever I log in to Vpn, my internet loses connection and the only web page accessible is SP website -.- Where's the logic?! I'm trying to perfect all my projects so that I can score well! Anyway, my tagboard is back. Brought it back cos whenever I blog, I feel like I'm just talking to myself which makes it no fun. Right! Back to my stacks of notes!!!

Last blogged @ 11:59 PM  Finally received my Subaru Car Challenge Pay! It's been donkey weeks! Now I'm 50 bucks richer. Hur hur. Don't attempt to rob me! I'm saving that up. Or maybe not. Shall spend that on buying Christmas gifts for all my darlings! It's the last day of Term 3!!! MST starts in 3 days. Die or not. And I'm not even anxious about it :/ Anyway, I still studied with Jasmine and Karen today at Marina Square and I don't even know if it was productive. I did Econs and Design&Drawing, but I thought I could have done more. One thing I know is that food always costs a bomb. Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe for lunch and Souperlicious for dinner! Very awesome though! And would I say, we did shop a little too? Urgh, need to work on the productivity part a little tomorrow. Received Bookfest work schedule already and I'm doing Cashier! (Y) Here comes the biggest paycheque for the year!!! *Drumrolls please!!!* However, this year's one will still be much much lesser as compared to last year :( Oh well, better than nothing right! December is the perfect month to meet up with old pals and find that, hmm... the world is really so small ;)

Last blogged @ 11:44 PM Last paper on Thursday!!!
I'm feeling very guilty and sinful for screwing up Materials paper yesterday. It's the first ever time I feel so bad for not doing well. Never ever felt like that. Or maybe it's been too long since I felt this way. Was at Kallang mac the entire afternoon. It's becoming more popular with students already! Dislike!!! And there was filming going on, just that I couldn't see who was in the filming crew. And before I could get a last glance, they were gone!!! Yes, I only know that they repeated the exact same action (of walking to the seat with a tray of food) for at least an hour. Even I do my tutorial faster than them!!! Speaking of which, I have to go prepare my stuff for tomorrow. Last day of mugging for exams!!! Labels: Study

Last blogged @ 11:11 PM New attempt to study at Iluma today.
It seems like only Singaporeans study in the most unexpected places. Apart from the library, at home, or at school (which is most common), yes we do study at the airport, and shopping malls. Early lunch at Subway, with weird conversations along the way together with Gwee, Tzu Ying and Jaime! :D Studying was productive / non-productive but either way, good company and good jokes! Finally got chased out of subway. We were rather bored too. Main purpose of studying at Iluma was to try out Marble Slab Creamery located just opposite subway. I chose to have the bonafee pie which was toffee and banana flavoured. The combination was good, and for the kiddy size, it was filling and would I say, rather worth it?  It's good because I finally tried something other than chocolate. Yes, I'm boring. Kinda expected that I would regret if I took chocolate because I would probably feel sick after eating half of it. Bonafee pie on the other hand, was not entirely just coffee flavoured. The banana made the ice cream really refreshing, and the waffle was really chocolate-ty. So if you wanna save money, don't bother buying the waffle. The mix-in was good though!

Okay, I can't remember the term. I need to read up on my Materials. Whatever it is, is that I can look at people without them knowing that I'm looking at them ^^

I don't know if it was productive. I did work alright. But I kept talking too. I'm sorry to the two if I distracted you!!! :( My house is going to have a drastic change from tomorrow onwards. It's going to look empty cos most of the furniture in my house is going to be moved away :( I feel sad. I need to go shopping desperately.

Completed 2 Law papers, meaning that I spent slightly more than 4 hours on studying. I spent the other 2-3 hours talking then?!?! It was so crowded today and it was bad (N). But I like the company (Y). I'm going to watch Fighting Spiders 2 later on xinmsn.com. And I must remember to catch it tomorrow! Yesyesyes! I miss watching Unriddle :( The only guy I like in the new show now is Qi Yu Wu. I hope Andie Chen replies my tweet! :D

Last blogged @ 11:19 PM  I have a new idol!!! And I'm his new fan!!! ^^ Andie Chen Bang Jun! Damn cute right! :D Geez... Apparently, he won Star Search Talent aka 才华横溢出新秀 in 2007. I was in sec 2 and I can't remember anything. Nevermind, I shall be his new fan from now on!So sad Unriddle finish already. I mean Season 1, and I guess he wouldn't be acting in Season 2 unless there's a change of events of something and he appears. Muahaha. I shall remember to try and catch Fighting Spiders 2 from now on!    Back to BV for Teachers' Day today!!! Met Mrs Cheong, Ms Tan, Ms Koh and Ms Pereira!!!Probably cos I went back already on Ms Tan's birthday, wasn't much to catch up with the teachers especially with Ms Tan and Ms Koh. Still awesome anyway!  Went to Airport to study with Sherlyn and Jong. Then Tzu Ying joined us!Went to Staff Canteen after lunch. Oh oh, I bought a Curlywurly Cadbury Chocolate from Candy Empire and it's not nice!!! Not the type of chocolate I like. Gwee joined us later! :D Kinda productive cos I attempted all the tutorials for law! Gonna start on the papers tomorrow.  I'm not in a GoodFoodMood today! :(

Last blogged @ 9:57 PM I was so angry at my dad yesterday, that I literally cried from anger.
He indirectly implied that he was sorry, but I was too peeved. I finally finished law notes! At last!!! I've got 1 day left to finish my POM notes. By Wednesday, I have to start memorising AVS! I've got a feeling that I can't secure my As like MSTs and there goes my first in law :( Have to be diligent tomorrow! Go go go! Labels: Study |
