Last blogged @ 11:45 PM Good news first!!!
I passed my FTT!!! YAY! Finally! So... I have yet to start my practical lessons. And my PDL is expiring in 2 days, which pretty much explains that I'm very unmotivated to do my lessons. I would very much love to get my license, but meh, lessons. Well, hang on. I'm still in search for my motivation to make me go for lessons willingly. Anyway, the highlight of the day is that... I FINALLY BOUGHT MY NEW LAPTOP! I had some grueling self-internal conflict since yesterday cus I couldn't decide what brand I should get. I limited my choices down to Asus and Fujitsu. I know my current Fujitsu has been giving me a lot of problems. The audio drive is screwed since forever, or it makes weird static noises at times when it feels like behaving normally. Other times, my entire laptop just hangs and meh, I have to restart the entire thing. So by right, why should I still trust a Fujitsu? But... I decided that I still liked my Fujitsu. I know this is dumb, but I like my keyboard a million times over and over again. As for Asus, it's not bad. But... when I had the thought of buying another Fujitsu, I guess my mind was already made up. So I know all my tweet rants were just... dumb. So... as you all would have already expected, I still decided to trust Fujitsu one more time and...  Here's my new baby! Fujitsu in black!!! I can't believe I actually spent 2 hours in Suntec, just to decide whether I should get Asus or Fujitsu. Or rather, convince myself why I shouldn't get Asus, or why I still want a Fujitsu. I think I spent about an hour lingering around Fujitsu's booth, ranting to people about my dying white Fujitsu and demand reasons why I should still purchase their products, and it's priced $500 more expensive than Asus even though their specs are quite the same. I pity that guy now LOL. So I think he was quite nice to give me a discount of slightly more than a hundred bucks! But I didn't agree to buy yet.  I suppose the lady boss got so annoyed cus I was standing around, but not buying her things. Fine, but I still bought it after she agreed to throw in an 8GB thumbdrive for free. PLUS... This entire box of freebies!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Why I this IT noob also can get so many good stuff! I'm impressed with myself. I think the guy didn't want to give me these stuff after I made him give me discounts and throw in one thumbdrive. But I very buay paiseh, and went ahead to ask him for it, so the boss had no choice but to give me this. I love the box!!!  And all my freebiessssssssssss. There's more below all these!!!  So anyway, I really hope my new Fujitsu will not disappoint me! - Going off for a 2 days Malacca Trip tomorrow! Good way to end my last 2 days of holidays before I start my long 6 months internship. Trying to keep positive because I really need cash. And very much looking forward to my 2 months holidays after that!!! Labels: Shopping

Last blogged @ 11:15 PM MST IS OVER!!!!!
HOLIDAYS ARE HERE!!!!! It's been a really fast term, and a loooong week of tests. I'm really amazed at how much my brain can absorb and memorise 7 weeks of shit in one night, for all 6 modules. Whatever it is, no more sitting on the holy chair! No more butt numb moments!!! And start cutting down on supper -.- I promise you, my brain, a well-deserved rest for 3 weeks. And my tummy, good food. For my mental and physical health, play and fun!!! So as usual, after MST and exams, comes a round of celebratory meal. So all of us went ALL THE WAY to Boon Lay to have Sakura International Buffet. Okay, food wasn't THAT fantastic but, still very filling, my tummy... my tummy... :( And I didn't even eat that much! :( Haven't stepped out of the house for so long, I didn't even want to go home so we went to JP to shop and yes, shop. Don't even have any source of income now, I should be scrimping and saving for my malaysia trip (^^). But those clothes... meh, I just needed to bring them home. Plus, they were cheap! Why be so hard on myself? - Well anyway, On a side note, It's been a sad week too. We witnessed the passing on of our dear lecturer, Ms Jac Ho. For those who have read the news, she's my lecturer in SP and her leaving came as a really shocking news to everyone of us. Sigh, such is life. How unpredictable. She's been such a nice person, always jovial, always cheerful, there's nothing to not like about her. There are so many things to remember about her - how to pronounce "Louis Vuitton", her forever bling bling phone, her self-drawn tote bag, her manicure that changes every week, her unique dressing style, everything. Really thank her for being part of our lives, and thank her for making our econs and marketing lesson always fun. May the other side of the world be full of happiness. - Okay, time to search for my attachment companies. Headache ahhh.

Last blogged @ 9:45 PM PC show with Jasmine today!!!
Finally bought my netbook!!! Happy is meeeee! Check out my new ASUS baby! So small and sleek, I like!   Going IT show is like going to a battlefied. Mad crowds, mad rush, squeeze and squeeze and squeezeeeeeeee. But damn satisfying when you get the things you want ^^ My heart almost dropped when the ASUS people told me they didn't have the black one after I made my payment. And I'm like "wts, you kidding me?!?!" I heard they only have the red one left, and I didn't want it cos it wasn't pretty. Mehhhh. Luckily they told me to come back after an hour to collect my black one. Thank god. So we 2 girls like tai tai go Gloria Jeans for high tea first ^^ This year is the first time I've been so interested and 've been to so many IT shows. And it's scary cos I've already spent more than 1k on all my IT gadgets, despite me being such an IT idiot. So now I'm another few hundred bucks poorer. I'll be forever far from my 9k savings dream. I don't know if I mentioned it, but I dreamt that I had 9k in my bank some time back. I wish. But good thing, mum decided that my awesome G12 will be given to me as my birthday present (Yes, I was supposed to pay back, but I haven't done so in the past 2 months. LOL) So I 赚到! ^^ - Anyway, had dinner with the family at Crystal Jade!  Seriously not much liking for the food there. To put it simply, it's like overpriced tze char. The portion is small, and not that nice anyway. I highly favour ding tai fung over crystal jade. But anyway, we were there to celebrate Father's Day in advance. I don't know why either. And I actually thought that today was Father's Day cos mum told me so yesterday. So I stupidly screamed "HAPPY FATHER'S DAY" to dad this morning and he was like "Isn't it on the 19th, next week?" WTH. Thanks mum. I think my parents are trying to play a joke on me. Dad also told me it was mother's day on the sunday before the actual week last month. But I didn't fall for that. Naise. Okay, back to dinner. There was this stupid spoilt kid sitting at the next table who was screaming to eat Crystal Jade steamboat. They have steamboat? :O But point is, she's only like P1? And she's mad spoilt! Who dared to demand your parents that you want to eat STEAMBOAT at CRYSTAL JADE when you were 6/7 years old?! And her parents are also weird people. For awhile, they were arguing. Then the next moment, they were scolding their kid, and then after that, let her play the iphone. Plus, they were damn noisy!!! Made me kinda tempted to just sneak over and say, "Excuse me, you want to argue, go outside and argue can!" Weird family. But good thing was that they finally shut up when their food came. (Y) - Okay, I can't believe that my weekends just passed like that. Kinda sad that 1 week of holidays are over. And I have to go back to work again tomorrow. Dreading it. Urghhhhhh. And I haven't been quite motivated to do my assignments. I think I'm still in the fyeah-it's-end-of-MST-mood. Imma hate you if you leave without telling me. Cos it means a lot to me, even though you don't know it.

Last blogged @ 11:07 PM IT'S BV BAZAAR DAY!!!
2nd bazaar after graduation. I remember being super excited and enthusiastic whenever it was time for bv bazaar! One of the best times in BV! Good 'ol times! Returned back with BV with Gwee, and woah. You know the feeling when you feel so old, as compared to the other kiddos?! The sec 1 kids are incredibly tiny, I don't even remember being that small wts. And I'm referring to the guys!!! Okk, so we got our tickets!!! Check out whose picture it is on the tickets! 4e1 peeps from our batch! Our batch must have been too awesome they don't bear to change the picture.  Found Miss Tan and she very excitedly asked us to take polaroid with her!!! And she still remembers that my birthday is coming!!! Sweetest teacher ever!!! Plus she never fails to send us an sms after each visit to encourage us! #Alltimefavouriteteacher!  Totally unlike some teacher, only hi-bye and the face like we offended them or something. Irksome!And other plus points were seeing my juniors!  And of course a visit back to our classroom! Can you see my seat right smack in the middle of the classroom?! And Adli! Who's telling me how people are going around telling him that I look like his JieJie. Hurhurhur.
But the weather showed no mercy at all, and the stalls were all kinda boring.
 And after some time, we decided to leave for the airport!Guess who we saw?!     Then we're off to Popeyes for our very late lunch!!!   And this 2 girls were supposed to do their work, but ended up talking / playing game / nua-ing and I don't know what!!! Then Haziq joined us!!! After a very unproductive "studying" session, we left for Orchard. Super long bus ride to 313, so we all Zzzzzz during the ride. And finally, after months!!! Our Family Reunion dinner at Blue Mountain Cafe!!!    All the nom nom-ing that we had!    My grilled chicken with rosemary herbs and honey mustard sauce was goooooooood! (Y)!And our dear Tzu Ying wanted to try the waffles and it was huge portion, so we made her share with everyone ^^  YAY and happy family photo!!! ^^ And girls being girls in the toilet...   Man... I loved that corner of the toilet! Perfect for the 5 of us!!!Yes... Jaime left before we even left BMC :/  And off to Orchard Central to Jalan Jalan.Visited the new Editor's Market outlet and I expected myself to spend some amounts of money buying new clothes. Who knew... Shopping at F21 - Fail Shopping at Editor's Market - Also Fail. Sad life :( I WANT TO SHOP LAH DAMMIT.  LOL at all the red faces here!All my favourite girls!!! <3 <3 <3 Been an awesome night cos we all finally found time to have dinner together after so long!!! Hate how our schedules are always keeping us so busy, and we can only meet up once in a nong nong while. So yay to all my favourite peopleeeeee!!!

Last blogged @ 9:21 PM HAPPY BIRTHDAY JASMINE!!! Today's a total good food day. Eat till damn full, money also fly away very fast T.T Arranged to meet Yin Xuan first at 313 so that we could get a cake for Jasmine and Karen from The Icing Room! Decorating the cake in process...    And tadah! Very satisfied with our artwork!!! Marriott Hotel for our birthday lunch for the birthday girl!!! Finally fulfilling Yin Xuan's wish to eat buffet at a hotel.   And this is where we ate our dim sum buffet - Wan Hao Restaurant!   And we had this very cosy seat at the side of the restaurant.Omg I don't know why my face looks so distorted here.   And look at the spread of food on our table. It's like never ending. Omg. I keep forgetting to take shots, so this is only one of the few times where our table was filled with a huge spread of food.  And the surprise of the day!!!    We spent a total of 2 hours there, gorging ourselves with dim sum. Hurhur. I ate the least among all of us there. I don't know, I think maybe cos I'm not that big fan of dim sum. And it makes you feel 腻 after awhile. Especially if it's fried food. And not to mention, so much prawns and pork. Hmm... So my $28 wasn't very well spent. Had a very long walk after that. I don't know where we walked also. Lol. Oh oh!!! We saw Joanne Peh and her boyfriend, Bobby Tonelli together at Taka! Got us damn excited for a moment cos we were unsure if it was really Joanne Peh. Walau, she's damn thin -.- So they were buying shades and we kept stalking her, trying to look at her reflection through her mirror. Until... she finally turned back, and yes, it was her. Then we 甘心. And then when we were at Far East, guess who we saw??? Fiona Xie!!! Lol. Funny how I know her brother and dad, and Jasmine's bro knows her. Small world yo! But she doesn't know us. - Anyway, after Karen went home, the 3 of us walked to Orchard Central cos we wanted to try Everything with Fries. And it started pouring on the way, and there were boys who kept screaming like as if they'll die from the rain -.- Grow up please, and man up! Everything with Fries didn't appeal to us cos they only had minimal choices. Then we went to walk around, and I ended up buying 2 pairs of shoes!!! I love my new sandals! It's damn comfy and sweeeee. And I've got new shoes for school! ^^ - Decided to go back to 313 to find food. But since we had Gong Cha before that, we went to walk at Forever 21 first. I love the hoodies. But it's too expensive and not appropriate for Singapore's weather. Urghhhh... And finally!!! After much walking, we finally had dinner at Ramen Play! - Spent a very hefty sum on food today! Total loss of $90 today!!! My 心很痛. Pardon me, but I just have to say... Iinstead of saying that I spent money, I think I would have to phrase it as "lost money". It's like eating all the food, and shitting them out at the end of the day. K lah, nonetheless, I still had lots of fun today!!! And hope the birthday girl enjoyed herself today also!!! |
