Last blogged @ 11:21 PM  MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!! Ya see my tiny Christmas tree? ^^ Bought it with the boy a few days back! And it's a real tree!!!!! I really have no idea why I'm so particular over a Christmas tree when I'm not going to take care of it. Frankly speaking, I haven't even watered it once ever since it has moved into my house. Sigh @ me. And other than that, I tried baking gingerbread cookies but failed really terribly. Well, everyone, except me, thinks that the cookies tastes bad. Probably going to throw away the remaining cookies cus it's highly unlikely that anyone will touch it. I am so disappointed :( Therefore, I have reached a conclusion that I'm not cut out to cook / bake or do anything in the kitchen. And I smell like butter all over eeewwwwww. That's it. I baked mum a cake today and I'm not going to do anymore in the near future.  So, to celebrate mum's birthday, we went to The Bark Cafe, just beside Changi Museum and Chapel for lunch ^^ Weather was really breezy and kinda awesome, so outdoor dining was a plus point. There wasn't many people around either, so bonus points for the ambiance too! Seated at a table that complements today's date!   LOL I only have a picture of my own Honey Glazed Chicken Burger. The pork ribs and black pepper duck was yummaye tooooo. Okay and that was probably the only interesting thing that happened throughout the entire Christmas day! Always prefer pre-Christmas cus it makes me feel more excited ^^ So... Christmas is ending in a few minutes, And New Year's coming!!! Excited!!! Can't wait to wrap up 2011 with a final blog post!!! Last blogged @ 12:56 AM Just got home from a Christmas party from ASM's house.
Such non-family gatherings make me feel like I'm in a familiar land with foreign faces. Makes me feel funny and out of place. But they're all nice people and for adults, way too hyperactive. It's like for a moment they're singing and getting drunk over sparkling juice, fondues and a pot of chicken feet. Then the next, they talk about even more partys and even more food, I wonder how they laughed for so many hours. So amazing, I suspect they were almost hysterical. Christmas shouldn't be a very big deal for non-Christians family like us, but I just like the idea of celebrating it, eating some special food, singing christmas carols and receiving presents. Last blogged @ 11:37 PM The boy's finally back from Malaysia! Been so long since I've spent one entire day with him, other than studying -.- Strictly Pancakes for brunch! ^^ Wanted to take a shortcut to get there, but ended up taking an even longer route so I was fussing non-stop. I know I'm that annoying. Alright, finally got a chance to try out their pancakes cos I've been wanting to try it for the longest time ever, just that I never managed to figure out where exactly the place is, and since the boy suggested it... YAY ^^ So here's my Apple and Cinnamon Pancakes...  And his... I don't know what. I only know there's Nutella :/ The portions are so huge and err... basically you get sick of it after awhile, still... worth trying, and maybe, share it. Then we very funnily went to stroll Fort Canning Park. At least it was not scorching hot, but still sufficiently warm enough for us to seek shelter in the mall soon after. Then the weather also last warning. Decides to pour all of a sudden, I had to leave the comfort of my seat at Gongcha. So anyway, to satisfy the boyfriend's craving for 85 bak chor mee after weeks and weeks and weeks, still made our way to Bedok 85 through the storm for early dinner. My god, the rain seriously never give chance one. At least he's happy now LOL. And since now he's back, finally can bring me go see xmas lights at Orchard ^^  Okay, I've been given orders to credit the following photo as taken by my dear Mr Kang cos all I could produce was a blur photo, and he apparently managed to do it better, hence #achievement. These snowmen why so cute oneeee.   Okay, now all I want for Christmas is... a Christmas tree. Probably going down to the nursery to search for one. I hope they have it, so I can deco it with mini ornaments ^^And I want a snowman too!!! I want I want I want... Let me go rack my brains to see how I can search for one...

Last blogged @ 11:16 PM First week of holidays... Went back to school today to have a meeting about our upcoming event. Felt like a typical Monday where we left school only close to 6pm. Just that I didn't complain and plead people to let me go home early. Went to have chicken rice for dinner with the girls and Wei Liang at dhoby ghaut. Kampong style. Walked around in Cathay and made a wish on the big white ball!  So fast, it's been exactly 1 year since we made a wish. I would say the wish came true. HAHAHAHAHA. Epic. So if my wish for next year comes true too, I'll be too fortunate. Probably the happiest person ever alive. Then we walked a little on the streets of Orchard to see the xmas lightings and made a big woohaa about the Christmas trees.   And the highlight of today... Rochor Tauhuey!!! Have been eating a lot of tauhuey recently, wah if only it can makes me fairer, or possesses some form of whitening effect. Got a new found love for youtiao also. Sinful sinful. Ahhh, can't believe this is my last holiday before internship. 3 weeks is too short. Need to make this fun. Need to make this eventful and packed. MUST. P.s. Can't wait for the boy to come back to go see the lights with meeeee. So at least Christmas this year can be a lil more special :)

Last blogged @ 5:29 PM MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
Hope everyone got lots of presents!!! And... HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUMMY!!!  Frankly speaking, other than it being a festive season, Christmas day itself is just yet another day. Pre and post Chrstimas seems more interesting... Hmm... Anyway, we had lunch at Kallang Leisure Park's Akashabu. Have always wanted to try their Japanese food and it's not bad. It's not too bad a place if you wanna hang out with friends for a good Jap meal.   Took out my surprise for the day - The DIY log cake for mummy! They didn't have the normal cake anymore, so only could make do with the log cake. My design a bit ugly ah. But I think at least my bro had fun doing his part of decoration.     Caught Guliver's Travels and it's a rather funny show. It's been a long time since I caught a movie. I still haven't watched Harry Potter -.-  Finally caught my 19 岁的青春 after so missing so many episodes cos of work. Small family gathering at home! And I had wine!!! ^^ And the two cups made me lobster red. Okay, I was sober (otherwise I wouldn't even be blogging at 2am right now -.-), but I got quite a shock when I saw myself turning so red and I got laughed at. Pfft.   |
