It's the time of the year again... to sum up Year 2012.

2012 has passed by so fast, I don't remember doing much. That's why Facebook is good because photos are the only way I upkeep my account and re-look what I've done.

I don't think I can list 10 things I've done this year, perhaps I'll just bring everyone through the year.

January

Trip to Hanoi during Chinese New Year wasn't that enjoyable cus the place was really chaotic and... boring. Figured out that I'll probably not return back to Vietnam unless someone pays for me lol. Only plus points was the cooling weather and my nicely done manicure, maybe food but that's it.

February

Spent a simple Valentine's Day with boyf at Indochine ;)

March

Started my 22 weeks Internship, but I'll elaborate on that later.

The weekend before Internship, the 2 families had a drive up to Malacca for a weekend's stay. Very suaku, cus it was my first time there. But nonetheless, a very good trip before the start of 22 weeks of hard work.

May

May was another short weekend trip up to Muar for a wedding. Yes, for my cousin who's younger than me hmmmmmm...

June

Spent my birthday over a simple BBQ gathering at home. Very thankful for the birthday present that everyone got for me ;)

July

First Year Anniversary with boyf ;) coming 1.5 years this very new day of 2013 ^^

October

First ever trip to USS with boyf! Very great accomplishment cus I bravely took roller coasters for the very first time. One of the best experience in the year!

November

Spent boyf's birthday at Prive with good food and good scenery.

December

Got my holy driving license after a million years and with just 1 attempt!!! Definitely the best Christmas present and the best thing to have before the year ends. I was blessed with a good (and super kind) tester, he did a very good deed on 18 Dec ;)

And I got to go on my last short getaway trip to Legoland with my girlies!! Good time spent with all of them (even though Legoland wasn't fun), but besides that, it's been a good day out with them!!

So significant events and people of the year...

Internship

Internship took up... 6 months of my entire 2012 from March till August, which is right smack in the middle of the year, so basically nothing else is more significant than this.

It's been very tough, considering the fact that from December 2011 till the start of 2012, I couldn't find a company that could take me in - after Pico's and IBC Asia's withdrawal, my refusal to join All Events Group, dramatic crying saga with Sally, and finally landing up in Oomph, before my transfer to VMSD Special Events Team in May.

However, I was very blessed for having people to help me along the way.

Working first time in an office environment was... different. Stressful and not very fun. Made me feel that I never ever want to work anymore in my entire life. But grateful that I'd learnt a lot of things. And I'll probably never forget Kopiko everrrrrrrrrrrr.

Bimchies

Favourite girls to do stupid things in school, talking and laughing about stupid stuff ;)

Accomplishment of the year would definitely be completing NAPFA together lol. Next accomplishment would be graduation next year!!!

BV Girls

Good old friends like sisters to keep ;) Known them for years and definitely many more years to come.

Looking forward to next year's Phuket trip with Gwee and Tay!!!

Boyfriend

The person who motivated me enough for me to get my driving license.

And of course, the person I spend most of my time with as you can see lol, which is highly inevitable since our houses are a road's width apart.

Times have been both good and bad, but I'm fortunate for all the times he's been there for me.

Very honestly speaking, I haven't been a very good girlfriend (but not that bad either, because it's not like he's good always), considering my bad temper and stupid tantrums, but  he's still been very nice to tolerate me. So most of the time I'd think to myself, and according to what my brother says, I ain't gonna find anyone else who's gonna be that nice to me.

He's definitely become my best friend, because I can be ultimately comfortable around him - someone I can do very stupid things to, cry to, vent my frustration at, go to different places, and eat all good food with. And of course, decide who settles the bill by playing scissors, paper, stone ;), and this is really good cus I always win hohoho.

Looking forward to many more good years ahead and Phuket trip in coming April wheeeeeeeeeeee!

So I guess this pretty much sums up 2012, which started off really badly cus I remembered 2011 being a really great year for me. But seems like it ended on quite a good, neat note. Definitely looking forward to 2013 cus all the great things are coming!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LEGOLAND MALAYSIA TODAY!!!

Just came back from a 1 day trip to Legoland with Gwee, Diana, Vivian, Jiayan & her sis,

And mummy and bro!!!

Didn't quite know what to expect because knowing that most of the rides are catered for kids, I still hoped that it would be very fun. But very thankful that we were blessed with good weather the entire day!

Getting a little excited at the entrance cus the park looked really huge and there were 40 over rides to cover.

But Legoland was really really crowded today, everywhere was filled with people. Had to skip the first few attractions, before deciding to go on the Dragon Apprentice roller coaster ride even though the queue was still really long.

Only until the point where we reached our turn, then we realised that we were not queuing for the most thrilling roller coaster. But we started with the more chillax one anyway.

Lunch was cheese sausages & chicken leg with fries at Knight's Feast. No pictures cus everyone just started eating. Drizzled a little but it stopped before we finished our lunch so all was fine.

Then we headed for the Dragon's Kingdom roller coaster (this time the thrilling one!!!) right after lunch since the queue seemed shorter, and we used queuing time to digest our lunch (which thankfully did not turn into indigestion due to anxiety and stomach churning).

Us while queuing...

I think the Human Ride at USS made me much braver, because I didn't feel as nervous as before. But nonetheless, still screamed really really loud. I remember feeling so tired from screaming halfway through the ride, but not doing so made me scared.

Headed for the 4D show after that. Don't understand why it's so highly raved about, because it wasn't interesting at all.

Queue was long, as usual. The holding area was so crowded and humid, and we had to squeeze like sardines for a good whole 20 minutes before we could enter the theatre. People were pushing, and I ended up sitting alone. There wasn't sufficient / helpful staff on site either.

Show wise, I was expecting much more effects. How can the chair not move when it's a 4D show!!! Cus I was sitting on the last row, we (plus mum and bro) couldn't experience the water effects either.

So much thoughts for a 15 minute attraction lol.

Only the kids enjoyed it very much. Good for them.

Scorching sun calls for some Ice Cream to save the day!

Was very sad that this water slide attraction was not open due to unknown reasons!!! Boooooo.

Moving on...

We spent some time at MiniLand, taking photos of all the famous countries landmarks. Probably the only place where you can see a lot of lego bricks in the entire LegoLand (apart from the few lego models pictured above).

Ain't a huge fan of legos, so they don't excite me as much hmm.

But the MiniLand on Singapore was done up quite beautifully, featuring our CBD area, boat quay and Singapore Flyer.

Very nice polaroid taken by Jiayan ;)

Didn't have much time left so we decided to go for our last attraction, Project X, the last roller coaster in LegoLand.

Had to queue for a good whole 1 hour, and we were all tired and aching like old women. Plus the ride had technical faults, so many people gave up and left, while we waited and waited for them to get it fixed and tested before the queue started moving again. By then we were all too exhausted to feel nervous for the ride.

But when we got on the ride, we started screaming again lol.

Spent our last half an hour visiting the gift shops. Got myself a huge Cookie Monster Sundae while waiting for the rest, and sitting on the floor outside the shop with mummy fanning ourselves cus we were dying from the heat.

And that concludes our 1 day Legoland trip!

Frankly speaking, Legoland fell below my expectations. For the entire day (about 6 hours), we covered only 3 rides and 1 show.

The entire theme park wasn't full of lego bricks as how its name suggests it to be. Other than the MiniLand, which forms the centrepiece of LegoLand and an occasional few lego models around, it doesn't form an impression that you are in LegoLand. Rather, it easily feels like any other theme park you can find anywhere.

Probably also because there ain't any significant characters that LegoLand is linked to, unlike Disneyland you have Winnie the Pooh, and USS you have transformers, etc. There isn't a storyline attached to the entire theme park.

Even though I said we were blessed with good weather (still very thankful for that!), but the queuing areas were really way too humid, and the few number of fans weren't much of a help.

Wouldn't think that it would be unfair to use USS as a benchmark, since both theme parks are well known internationally. But for the same price, I would definitely prefer USS hands down, in terms of level of interest, appeal and welfare for the visitors. Yes, LegoLand needs to improve on their toilet cleanliness. The stench is very very bad.

Probably have to choose a non-peak season the next time if I'm ever visiting again.

Seemed like I wrote a rather negative post about LegoLand, but...

Nonetheless, am still thankful for this opportunity to spend a good day out with my girls and my family, making this a memorable last Friday of 2012!

Ending the post with our ultimate sticky and tired picture of us... ;)

OMG LOOK WHAT I'VE GOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I FINALLY PASSED MY DRIVING TEST!

Really nice of the boyf to accompany me this morning and waited for me to finish my test, and mum also sent us to CDC lol feeling so loved.

Really thought I wouldn't be able to make it cus I lost ALL (except 2) my points while Changing Lane, and the tester even turned to me and say "Your lane changing, is terrible" in the midst of the test.

But he must be really nice so he still passed me. And very thankful that I didn't hit the kerb!!! So all's well, all's well.

Soooo... I'm glad I don't have to return to CDC anymore after dragging my ass to get my license. This entire thing took me a long 1.5 years, omg and the countless amount of money I have donated to them just for not doing anything. Now nobody gets to nag at me!!!

And I don't have to go back everyday, just to take my practical lessons, getting honked at, mounting / hitting kerb / rolling down the slope whee!!!

So after my very demoralized post I wrote on 7 September, 4 months back, I'm so glad I succeeded in learning how to drive a manual car and I have my Class 3 License now!!!

So Goodbye CDC and the lao pok Car 176!!!

Hmm I don't know when is the next time I will be driving on the road cus the thought of lane changing really scares the shit outta me...

We'll see.

Best Christmas gift this year!! ;)

Haven't blogged in a really long while, because I've been doing the same thing every other day since school started.

So it's break now, and I'm working at Mum's office (again!). I'm bored, so I'm trying to churn out a blog post. She doesn't like me to talk to her because I'm supposed to treat her like my superior. So meh.

-

Before we had our (last) MST, the class took our class photos for our Yearbook and we came up with the bathroom-PJs theme hence all our PJs and soft toys. Probably also the first time the class was enthu over a particular matter.

And as usual, after our last paper, had a celebratory dinner with Cherlyn and Pei Min at Fullhouse! I think what makes the place appealing is its interior design. Since the whole place was designed like a home, it had different areas like the living room, study room, entertainment room, party room, balcony, etc.

A pity we could only sit in the party room where it's rather bare cus apparently the place was really "fullhouse". Service wise was rather unsatisfactory. You never ever wave your customers towards you like they're your pets >:

Ordered the Wok-Sear Chicken Chop - Grilled chicken thigh served with mashed potato, italy vegetables (really? Not cai xin meh?) and black pepper raisin.

Food wasn't bad, but not much to rave about either.

-

Weekend was spent going back to The Fabulous Baker Boy for their Velvet Cake because it's so fabulous, it's to die for!!!

And their iced tea mmmmmmm ;)

Place was really crowded, I didn't know you had to make reservations on weekends. We were lucky, so we had the last empty table, but had to share with this another pair - the woman was really strange. Boyf said she's an air stewardess, but I've to add, a really crude and loud one hmmm.

Adorable picture of my Tummy sitting at the door waiting for mum to come back on Monday night lol.

Christmas is coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Christmas Wish for me to pass my Driving Test next Tuesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EVERYBODY PRAY FOR ME!!!!!!
