Last blogged @ 11:01 PM Ate so much good food today, I'm suffering from indigestion now. First time in so many days, I'm not eat supper. Omgggg, I paid so much today to make myself feel so uncomfortable. Not worth it :/ So, I spent the entire day out with Jasmine and Yin Xuan today. Wah, got really annoyed by this auntie working in Guardian. No doubt, she was doing her job by promoting me her items. But I have the right to consider also right!!! When I took both her item and the one that I wanted, (cos I abit paiseh to reject it in her face) she kept following behind me to see which one I'll go pay for. Wtf. I kept walking in the other direction to avoid her, but she kept appearing in my face. And after some stupid wild goose chase, I told the cashier I didn't want the item, she suddenly popped out beside me, asking the cashier to scan her item. Annoying max!!! - Then we had Souperlicious for lunch. Yes, again! I think the soup really killed me. The creamy mushroom was so so creamy it overwhelmed me. Meh. I finished it only cos I didn't want to waste my money. Omg but it was gross. Note to self: Don't buy such a big bowl of creamy mushroom soup from them anymore!!! - Right, if you realised, we're always meeting up at City Hall area. So it's kinda easy to find me. I think we've combed almost the entire City Hall area, based on our past 1 year experience. Walking from Suntec to Bugis is no big deal anymore. We do that almost every week. At least I exercise!!! *smug* Yah yah, so we walked to BBC and I found my 泡沫之夏 novel. If anyone has it, please lend it to me! Tyvm!!! Then we wandered to Iluma and checked out all the good food that we can have for dinner. And ended up eating "Taste of HongKong Cafe" cos of the attractive Drumstick, which I didn't try anyway. I think I should avoid eating at HongKong Cafes cos I always end up eating maggi mee / baked rice. Not like they do sell anything else.  Oh Jasmine did try the drumstick. It's the biggest drumstick I've ever seen in my entire life. Okay, no picture so too bad. But, it's so big it covers like half the plate. What a drumstick! Ah, I haven't mentioned, we had dinner at like 5pm -.- Machiam High tea. And when Karen joined us afterward, we went Cheeky Chocolates which was next door (yes, literally) for dessert! Had a go on their crepes! Caramelized Banana Delight! Damn awesome! My phone's camera does no justice to this pretty thing here.  Wah I think I talked A LOT the entire night. 2 days of staying at home, kinda deprived from talking. See lah, so now got indigestion. Tsk tsk. - I'm kinda broke. Omg. And I keep getting nagged for not working. It's only this holiday that I'm not working!!! This holiday just happens to be longer than the rest!!! :( And I have so many activities lined up this coming week. Imma survive ^^

Last blogged @ 4:13 PM I'm here to do a very bo liao post on the very bo liao things I've been doing all holiday.
Watching dramas!!! And this post will most probably tell you why I love Taiwan so much!!! Ohmygod. My love man. I've been consistently watching dramas since Sec 2. I don't even know how I knew about "Smiling Pasta, 微笑pasta" and I remember chionging home every afternoon together with Nat to watch it ^^ Ol' good times!  Then I promised myself I will only watch dramas during the Year end holidays so that I will study and not screw up my results. So you know that I'll be especially excited when the holidays come!!! "Brown Sugar Macchiato, 黑糖玛奇朵" was one that Lifang recommended me to watch. Man! I loved Xiao Yu!!! I always thought Xiao Jie, Ah Wei and Wei Lian were the weird ones in Lollipop.  "Corner with Love, 转角遇到爱" was the first ever show that made me cry!!! I think it was also from then, I gained the habit of staying up late, and waking up early to chiong drama. Though I must admit that the first few episodes of this show was so boring, I kinda gave up.  "Meteor Garden, 流星花园" was a continuation of my mad craze. I had the DVD lying at home, so 不看白不看! Who knew, it turned out good!!!  Okay, I watched half of Meteor Garden 2 and gave up cos I don't like the Michelle Girl. Meh, her acting sucks.  I couldn't remember how I knew about "Why Why Love, 换换爱". But omg, Mike He is love!!! <3 <3 Later I found out that "Devil Beside You, 恶魔在身边" existed. Double love Mike He!!!   "Miss No Good, 不良笑花". Okay too bad, Wilber Pan does not appeal to me. I've heard his songs, watched his shows, admit that they're good, but I'm not crazy over him. Yay and "Bull Fighting, 斗牛要不要"! Watched only cos of Mike He!!! Okay lah, the show itself is not too bad.  "Hi My Sweetheart, 海派甜心" is supposed to be good also. But since I can only watch one episode per week, based on its airing time, I kinda forget some details and waiting makes me lose my interest in a show ;<  And this one, confirm a lot of people watch! "Autumn's Concerto, 下一站幸福", make me cry like siao only. Xiao Xiao Bin was so good, he made me cryyyyyyyyy. But watching it a second time got no more feeling already lah.  Yay and another Mike He's show - "Calling For Love, 呼叫大明大星"!  Okay, all of the above were those that I've watched over the few years since Sec 2. Okay lah, I don't think it's a lot lor... But you know, watching dramas give me a sense of achievement leh! Kk, now for those that I've watched during the holidays so far... I only watched "Love Buffet, 爱似百汇" cos I didn't want to watch "Endless Love, 爱无限", cos like I said, Wilber Pan does not appeal to me and I don't know who's the female lead. And Love Buffet was good during the first 12 episodes. The ending was such a huge disappointment!!! :( Only Aaron Yan made it better. Aye, and at least I don't dislike Calvin Chen that much now. And probably the first time, I dislike the female lead so much, like you wanna slap her omg.  Lol. Okay, what to do? Holidays so bored, so I still went to watch Endless Love. And... I'm glad I did!!! Walau it's so sad and touching I kept crying like the 3/4 of the entire show! I'm still not a fan of Wilber Pan, but the show is so good!!! 'Nuff said!!!  Chiong-ed the entire show in like what? 3 days? So I went to hunt for more shows to watch. I attentively and dilligently read the sypnosis for every drama okay!!! So I make my choice very wisely. Trololol. So yay to "Summer's Desire, 泡沫之夏". I just finished this show yesterday!!! The show probably tore me apart, and made my heart 100 times weaker. As the story progresses, it kinda suffocates you. It's like so deep, so... I don't know how to explain it. And it's much worse when the ending is totally opposite of what you want!!! Even though it's still a good ending in the end!!! But still!!! And I already knew the ending since the starting of the show, but in my heart, I still wanted the ending to be otherwise!!! K lah, I know it's only a show, don't need to take it so serious. Hurhurhur. But but but, Huang Xiao Ming is so shuai and so hot omg!!! ;) And his songs are rather good ^^ Yay next time can go K and sing.  Haha k lah k lah, I know I always mention the guys only ^^ What to do? All so shuai!!! Hurhur. Of course! Still got shows that I actually do give up on, cos of unappealling actos / actresses, stupid storylines or I just 看不顺眼. I don't know how people can rewatch "Hot Shot" so many times. Omg. I thought Show Luo looked stupid.  And in "So I'm not Handsome", JJ Lin's acting was aboslutely not good at all. I think I'll love him more if he just sticks to singing.  Right. If you're wondering I'm mad for placing Mike He's shows under "Gave up watching", the reason is that I cannot take it when he acts with these actresses. I still think that he has the best chemistry when acting with Rainie Yang. Though I thought "Calling for Love" and "Bull Fighting" was not bad.   Actually I should place "Death Girl, 死神少女" under "gave up watching" but I shouldn't cos I gave up only cos I got freaked out by the story. Walau cos got people dying and weird stories, so I don't wanna scare myself. But it's actually quite interesting also! I shall find some guts to watch it. Don't laugh cos the story is just mysterious and not scary. But I watch alone in the night, I scared right!!!  Yay and of course this one cannot miss!!! "Sunny Happiness, 幸福最晴天"!!!  Only waiting to finish airing in Taiwan. Actually I can start watching already cos the entire series is already being uploaded. Kay lah I also don't know I waiting for what. If I don't watch, then I 实在是太对不起自己了. Queue for almost 3 hours to get their poster and autograph then don't watch, like stupid only!!! It's kinda weird how I never watch other very very popular dramas like 恶作剧之吻，命中注定我爱你， 十八禁不禁 and others. Actually have lah, but either on TV or in Taiwan only, so its only a few episodes that I've watched :P Plus plus I'm anticipating Mike He's new drama with Cyndi Wang, "美乐，加油!" and Rainie Yang's new drama, "醉后爱上你". Seems like to really complete ALL my to-watch-drama list, I will grow very old already. Hmph. - Yay okay! I've completed my very bo liao post!!! Last blogged @ 9:37 PM Out with Jasmine today!!! Had a hard time waking up cos I slept at 4am!!! Had lunch at Superlicious! Then we had a long walk... From Raffles City to Bugis to Sim Lim Square, back to Bugis and finally Raffles City again.  Another day of my life has passed.

Last blogged @ 10:52 PM Few things to update about. Starting on Friday onwards. - Attended bro's performing arts concert at his school, in support for SYF. First time seeing him perform. It's kinda like BV's enchanting moments, just that theirs is more simple. One of the rare few moments I few really really proud of him! ^^ - Got a new haircut. And for a moment, I liked it. I cut my fringe. Yes again. And this time, I don't have a slanted fringe anymore. I cut it straight. But shit thing is, my hair's kinda wavy, so now it doesn't stay straight and it keeps curling up. And it makes the actual length looks shorter and I look damn kuku. - Went to 扫墓 and I had problems handling my hair the entire time I was preparing to leave the house. I got so frustrated with how I look, I kept dumping the damn comb. Mum got frustrated with me cos no matter what she did to help me, I think I still looked stupid. Meh, she warned me there's a limit to her tolerance but I don't care!!! S o when we went over to ah ma's house, I kept trying to save my hair but still failed very badly. And I kept refusing to leave the house, so I got screamed at by mum :( Wtfbbq. Okay, she said that it wasn't like I was going for a matchmaking session or what, but I don't want to go out with my shit hair right!!! Whatever. I know I always throw a very big tantrum after my numerous shitty haircuts. What's new? - Right. So, I need a recommendation for a good place, for a good haircut! - Tsk. I'm going back to my drama. Last blogged @ 11:26 PM Had an impromptu discussion with Gwee the night before at like 3am in the morning, telling me she was coming over to eat yu pian tang. (I couldn't inform my maid not to cook my share for lunch, and she gave me a very loud "huh" when I woke up the next afternoon)
Then we decided to go sing K after lunch (yes, again!!!) Diana came too!!! Supposed to eat yu pian tang, but the stall was not open. Very very bad!!! Went to KLP's Kbox to sing!       Freezing cold in the room. Kbox should learn to conserve some electricity. It's as though we're singing in ice boxes.Yay and that concludes my day. I'm living the 日短夜长 kind of life. I wonder how the hell I'm going to adjust back to normal sleeping hours when school starts. Labels: Friends

Last blogged @ 11:29 PM I have finally finished blogging about Taiwan trip, so from now on, I can blog about my normal daily events.
So ever since I came back from Taiwan, all I did was to go to IT show with Jasmine. Got myself a hard disk and till now, I have no yet used it. Hmm... Attended Vicky's dance performance. Yadayada. - And most recently, just over the weekend, I ended my 3 day job at Expo. I think this is by far, the slackest job I have been assigned since I started work at Popular. LOL. I did redemption and by the first day, it was fully redeemed. So my job was just to give Manhattan Fish Market vouchers. So it was boringgggggggg. And finally on the last day of work, I volunteered to go to the loading bay to help with the painting of metal rack and that definitely relieved my boredom! Just that I still have black fingernails now! Hurhur. I'm a semi-pro metal rack painter now okay! For my services... please... errr... don't contact me. After the last day of work, went to eat supper together with Yin Xuan, Jasmine and Karen at Bedok 85! Damn shiok!!! Chicken wings + carrot cake + hokkien mee + satays and sugarcane! Awesome only!!! And Alex joined us after that! So I conclude the end of work by spending money and regaining all the energy I've lost. - So as a form of post-work celebration, I went out with the girls on Tuesday after their teardown on Monday! Met Yin Xuan and Jasmine for Kbox at Marina Square! We sang in the cold~ But it was awesome!!! Then met Karen for dinner at Manhattan Fish Market so that we could use our voucher ^^  And after dinner, we walked from Marina Square to Millenia Walk, then to Suntec and lastly Raffles City.Whee happy day! Better than staying at home. Boring ttm.

Last blogged @ 1:14 AM TAIWAN DAY 8!!! Last day already! Sad max!!! Last few photos inside the service apartment!!!      Checked out in the morning before we go our separate ways. Check out our FULLY packed car! There's more bags in the front!!!  Yeah, so UJ drove me and mum back to Ximending to do some last minute shopping!!! Actually we had the entire morning plus half the afternoon till 3 to shop. And the rest of them went to run some errands + meet Pastor Paul so we'll meet them straight at Taoyuan airport at 4pm. No shopping for them, too bad!!! No photos of us shopping cos too busy! But I bought more this day than the previous day! Went to eat 阿宗面线 for lunch! Yummmmmm. Decided to not spend too much time on lunch so we could shop more ^^    Then we tried our last 葱抓饼 in Taiwan :( But this one tasted bad. It wasn't even nice cos it was salty! I think the guy took our order wrongly. Oh well. Walked around somemore and decided it was time to leave cos we had already covered the main areas. Plus we had a train to catch!  So goodbye Ximending!!! May we meet again soon!!!  Taking a train back to our service apartment there (just one stop away!!! See how much I love the place we stay at!!!).  Then just within the MRT station, it links to the High Rail Station! How convenient!!! So excited cos it's my first time taking the High Rail! My pass ^^  And the train we were going to catch! Taoyuan is just 2 stops away! Yay and going to board the train!!!   Then from the High Rail station, we still have to take a bus to the airport.So fun! Taking all sorts of transport in one day!!! From car to train, to high rail then the bus, and finally the plane!!!  We reached kinda early, so we went to buy Burger King!!!Some fast food after 7 days! Frankly speaking, the overwhelming smell of the 鲁肉 makes you feel sick sometimes. It's lingering everywhere, even in the maggi mee! Blah blah blah. I think I was the only one who didn't say bye to Pastor Paul cos I was busy eating!!! Checked in and then went to have early dinner! Finally!!! I got to drink my 珍珠奶茶! Very expensive one somemore!!!  And finally, the last photo taken in Taiwan!!! Still food!  Reached Singapore past midnight. Our flight was delayed a little. Which made me happy cos I could stay in Taiwan a little. So sad when the plane took off, make me wanna cry :( I'll be back, Taiwan!!! And this concludes my 8 days in Taiwan!!! I LOVE TAIWAN!!! Labels: Taiwan |
