Last blogged @ 12:18 PM  I did my one day of work at Mediacorp's Subaru Impreza Challenge 2010 yesterday, Saturday, and it was awesomely fun!!! GO CAR 10!!!!! :D Fabulous batch of contestants cos they're all so funny. Even though they're not as united like other cars, but they're all cool people in their cool ways! Worked from 3pm - 11pm and till 9pm, Cherlyn, Naz and me were all marshalling at Car 10. By right, we were not allowed to chit chat with them but we did anyway cos it would be too boring for them and for us! They kept asking if I'm Chinese or Malay and one of the family member even grabbed me to ask me that :O Was offered the chance to work today again but we didn't cos it would be too tiring and what if we didn't get Car 10 anymore!!! Good things don't last! Shall try to catch the news tonight and see how many are still left standing! Okay shall go back to doing econs now :( Labels: Work

Last blogged @ 12:33 AM It's Friday! Or rather Saturday morning.
Was busy playing Neopets so I forgot to blog before 12mn :( Made my first ever virgin trip down to Mediacorp with Cherlyn and Naz yesterday evening for Subaru Car Challenge! Was kinda excited cos I was hoping to see Andie Chen. Kinda obvious that the possibility is very low. As for today, met up with Yin Xuan, Jasmine, Karen and Joceline! Had astons for dinner and then we jalan around till we finally decided to go to Iluma for Marble Slab Creamery!  I tried a new flavour - Rum!!! It's awesome cos there's this tint of alcohol! And... we took unglam photos and video of Jasmine eating her waffle ice cream. Muahahahaha. We talked about personal stuff - meaning exes and crushes and it's all kinda funny. Good times!!! Okay off to sleep!!! Going to work at Subaru Car Challenge Event tomorrow!!! Hope I don't go blind from staring at all the competitors' palms. Goodnight ya all!!!

Last blogged @ 7:50 PM Out of the 4 things that I've blogged about what I wanted to do, very fortunately / unfortunately, I've completed 2 of it.
I managed to persuade mummy to go to Mille Fleur Flea at Clarke Quay cos I promised her that it would be something different. Very grateful that it didn't rain cos I almost couldn't make it to Clarke Quay cos of the purple sky. Lots of ang mohs, lots of pubs, but apparently, the flea was kinda small with only slightly more than 10 stalls and bought nothing :( Saw the pub, "The Clinic" and I promise I'm so going there when I'm of legal age. Went back to Charles and Keith warehouse sales again today cos mummy wanted to go see. Bought nothing again. Walked to Mitju warehouse sale and we had to queue for an hour before we finally got into the warehouse -.- Got a pair of heels, and I think it compensated my time from queuing. I saw the "cute" guy working at the control station from a close distance today. He doesn't look so cute afterall -.- Still nicer to see him from a distance. HAHAHA. These are the things I'll do when I feel very very adventurous. 1. Try the Singapore bungy. There's this new swing thing beside it, and it's so scary cos it drops you from a super high height within seconds. A heart-stopping moment. I'll die.
2. Watch a lot of horror movies. 3. Dress up and go on a shopping spree, probably in Malaysia or Bangkok. If my finances allow, I'll go to Japan or Paris or wherever's nice. Hmm... 4. Travel to another country - Malaysia / Indonesia / Thailand and do things like water-rafting, climb a mountain, whatever is within my own means. And find a beachy spot and chill. (Omg, see cute guys ^^) 5. Backpacking. Hitch random rides, B&B, budget travelling, take a lot of pictures, meet different people. Maybe rent a car and drive wherever I want to. This will be so awesome.

Last blogged @ 7:51 PM It's Friday and I'm going to do a double post cos I have nothing to do on a Friday night, yet I have many things I wanna do so I'm going to list down a couple of things I really want to do right now.
1. Mille Fleur Bazaar @ Clarke Quay 22 - 23rd October, 6pm - 12mn. I've been waiting for this for really long! And I didn't know it starts tonight. I can't go out right now (not that I can't, but ehh... I don't think I'm allowed to). And to celebrate Halloween, they're going to be selling Halloween stuff too!
Point is, I have no idea how to get there. I think I'm alright if I miss this.
I really really want to get clothes. Ohmygod. I need cheap and good stuff. Bring me there someone!!!
Mitju 1st Annual Warehouse Sale from 12pm - 6pm! I bet it's going to be super crowded. Lots of pretty shoes (I HOPE!) And I really really really want to go!!!

Haven't find the time and energy to post everything and anything. I end school at 9.30pm on Tuesdays. Leaves me tired for the entire wednesday. Though I've nothing much more to complain cos I end at 12 the other days. Muahahaha. It rhymes. So on Wednesday, I met up with the girls - Yin Xuan, Jasmine, Joceline and Karen to have dinner at Souperlicious at City Link. Average meal as compared to those that we have tried so far. (Excluding MOF which was really bad) Still in campus now though school has ended. Will be heading to Charles and Keith Warehouse sale with the poly peepz - Cherlyn, Naz and Peimin!!!  I wanna grab some good hot deals!!! Need to control my spending cos I don't have much cold hard cash! :( Yes, the haze is bad. I know everyone's complaining about eye irritation, runny nose and itchy throats. I'm affected by it too, for a week now. Actually I'm not sure if it's because of the haze or because of the BBQ food. Oh well. If only school stops... I'll update more when I come back from the sales! /edit I'm back! And it's been a very busy Friday! Went to Charles and Keith sales with Cherlyn and Naz and oh my, it was crowded! @.@ Late lunch at Geylang Serai and we were pretty much tired from all the walking. Good friday though! And we did a good deed today by finding a handphone in the school toilet and returning it to its rightful owner!

Last blogged @ 9:41 PM First day of school.
Not that bad cos the teachers are nice, so far :) Bad cos it's only the first day of school, and holidays seem far far away. Very bad. Let's do the math. (8wks x 7days) = 56 days 56 days - 16 weekend days = 40 40 - 2Ph - today = 37 37 days = 5 weeks, 2 days. Hmm... Okay, is that better? Doesn't seem to help. Shall forget about countdown-ing everyday. It's too much of a suffering. Dip plus is arranged on a tuesday. Very good. But they lied to us cos it should be 5.30pm to 8.30pm instead of 9.30pm. 4 hours is mad!!! :( Labels: School

Last blogged @ 10:02 PM  The movie was kinda long, so I got a mild headache towards the end of the movie. Too much of staring at a screen for 2 hours. My throat's feeling better already!!! Don't want to be falling sick on the first day of school man. And they haven't give me my timetable for dip plus! -.- Totally not excited about returning to school tomorrow. 8 weeks to holidays. Last blogged @ 11:53 PM  Awesome BBQ at my house with Gwee, Sherlyn, Tzu Ying, Jong, Jiayan, Manda, Vivian, ZhenLu, Daanish, MarcusOng, MarcusSoh, Jeremy, Wei Jie, Daanish, Haziq, Azmin and Afiq!First time experience using an electrical BBQ pit without charcoal and fire starters. Kinda amazing so we spent quite awhile to figure out how to BBQ the food. And wasted some money buying wire mesh. And all thanks to the super chefs! Haziq, Jiayan and Marcus!!! (Y)     And the rest busy eating / daidee-ing.  And the next fascinating thing was to open up the wine bottle and we gathered around looking like idiots trying to see the guys open it up. Muahaha.   Haziq left and the guys went to do their "bear hunt" outside. Cleaned up and all till they came back.We kinda screwed up the BBQ pit cos it's kinda badly burnt. Hurhur. Gonna use lemons or what to clean it up tomorrow! Went up and chill out at the balcony! Eggshell!!! Eating melted ice cream and watching ZhenLu open up his long awaited birthday present. Gave Daanish's his too! But we didn't wrap it up so it's kinda obvious what we gave him!!!  All of them left at 11.30 and it was kind of a pity that they couldn't ton. Oh well, there'll always be more chances!!! Awesome day anyway!!! Goodnight!!!

Last blogged @ 11:04 PM Last minute decision to go Orchard with Tzu Ying hai zi and Jaime hunneh!
Shopped at Far East and we got belts and shoes!!! Yay!!! Okay, I've got to throw away some of my shoes cos there's no more space! Left for Tampines while the two went to have their dinner at Pastamania. Met Naz and Peimin! Dinner at BBQ Chicken! Now I realise the irony. I ate fish and chips at BBQ Chicken! :O I ate prolly only half?
Shopped around from Century Square to Tampines Mall and back to T1. We shared the brownie and the cheesecake.
 Good food day!!! Gotta apply for GEMs tomorrow :/ Request for 3 hours of leave from work so that I stay guard in front of my com and apply for it and hope I get the module I want!!! Told a white lie! Told them that I was going in school, when I'm only going to stay at home and apply it online. Oh well, at least I'm lying for an important cause!!!

Last blogged @ 10:40 PM  Charlie St. Cloud with Gwee, Vivian, Diana, Jiayan and MarcusSoh today at Century Square! Not too bad a movie, but we discussed that there wasn't really a climax throughout the entire movie. And the storyline wasn't that clear cos Charlie (aka Zac Efron) was just talking to 2 ghosts most of the time. I kinda like the little boy who played Sam aka Charlie Tahan. His name's so cute. Dinner at Japanese Gourmet Town! Bought a top and a dress today. Kinda scared that I'll regret cos it's so pricey!!! The 2 cost me almost $70! I think my savings just decreased tremendously again.

Last blogged @ 11:48 PM VERY AWESOME AND WELL-SPENT DAY TODAY!!!
Met up with Gwee, Vivian, Afiq, Daanish and Wei Jie at ECP to cycle! ^^ And I tried cycling to ECP from home for the first time ever! Cycled the entire stretch from Big Splash to the start of Changi Beach without stopping! Butt pain and legs aching but very satisfying! Afiq and Vivian had to leave early so the 4 of us had dinner at Lagoon! Prolly the first time ever the 4 of us had dinner and cycling together! Totally in good food mood! Satays + Chicken Wings + Rojak + Hokkien Mee + Spicy spicy stingray and lots of drinks!!! (Y) Chilling out at the hut / pavillion was damn shiok cos we had awesome talks! Oooh... Secondary school days! Cycling home was fantastic too. After sending Gwee home, the guys sent me home and it's been an awfully pleasant and fabulous day!!! Definitely looking forward to more cycling (be it day and night) trips with you guys!!!

Last blogged @ 11:51 PM Good news!!!
I've got a GPA of 3.83!!! Very happy!!! ^^ And distinction for law!!! Quite a pity I didn't get distinction for POM though. But at least I've got a B+ for Materials. This goes to show I'm not cut to study technical stuff. And my reward is to go Teoheng this weekend!!! Shopping with Yin Xuan and Jasmine at 313 today!!! Kinda unfruitful cos the clothes there didn't suit us so we ended up at City Hall earlier than expected. Walked, find Karen to talk, and finally we went to New York New York at Suntec for early dinner at 5.30pm!
We were the only customers cos it was still early so we had the cushion seats ^^ The only food we had on our table were all their hot deals (main course + dessert + side dishes) which mean cheaper.Too bad the waitress was kinda weird and she kept looking at us like we were not going to leave the restaurant since we kept talking even after eating. The food wasn't too bad though! When I've more money, Imma try the more expensive dishes.  The dessert. Forgot to snap the main course cos we dug in all too quickly. Chilling out and random ghosts stories to scare Yin Xuan was awesome!!!

Last day of work for phase 1 at singpost Suntec selling Hello Kitty stuff. Very very boring. But at least things are better today. Thank you Jasmine for coming to Suntec to eat pepperlunch with me for lunch. And standing outside Singpost to talk talk to me and help me pass time. And sales today was better!!! The feeling is so shiok when the customers just make their decision to buy the hello kitty stamps on the spot. (Y) Got commission already! ^^ Steamboat with Gwee, Tzu Ying, Sherlyn, Jong and Miss Goh at Bugis to celebrate Round 2 of Tzu Ying's birthday! Very satisfying :D Gonna rest my tired feet now. |
