Last blogged @ 11:28 PM  So work has ended, and I'm out on the streets again!!!And for a start, out with Jasmine and Yin Xuan for dinner!!! Everytime go out with them, sure will walk a lot a lot. But I like! ^^ Met up with Jasmine first cos she wanted to go collect her NDP tickets. So we walked from Marina Square to Marina Floating Platform, and half of the Helix Bridge. The weather was merciless.  Then we went over to Creation Cafe to meet up with Yin Xuan for dinner!!! It's a really small little cafe, and not much on their menu. But I guess the price is quite reasonable. ~$15 for a dinner set meal, including soup and dessert. Full max. Shouldn't have ordered the dessert, but they 2 made me so tempted!!! This carrot soup was kinda good!  Yin Xuan's risotto. We kept hearing mee soto, mee soto. And then it turned out to be rice. LOL. Tastes like baked rice, mmm. My Italian sussages with tomato herb sauce. Okay, nothing special. And Jasmine's laksa with seafood. I forgot the name. But it's a really cool dish. And dessert was... brownie and apple crumble! The apple crumble was so soft, it tasted just like kueh!   After dinner, we walked back to Marina Square to find a place to chill out. But we ended up wanting to explore new places, so we walked further down to Esplanade... And good choice! Check out the pretty scenery!   And at 8pm, there was this "performance" at MBS. I don't know what is it exactly, but there were laser beams, and Yin Xuan kept going wah wah wah. Then we decided to move on, and walked to the Merlion Park. Trying stupid things along the way...I helped capture the shots, so I didn't make a fool out of myself! :P  Yay and we finally reached!!!And we had to wait a very long time before we could get this awesome spot to take a photo. Machiam fengshui spot or something.   Decided that we needed to find a place to sit after that. LOL.So we plonked ourselves at the steps near the Merlion! And... Sing a song for me!!!  And the girls are so sweet, they got me the cupcakes from Crystal Jade!!!They actually remembered me saying that I wanted these cupcakes few months ago! And they got me 18 of it!!! Love them max!!! <3   It's so pretty and cute right!!! I wanted to share my cupcake with the pretty Merlion. Then I decided to have it all to myself.  And then, the laser beams came out again!!! This time we were nearer and were at a relatively good spot!     It was tough getting this shot of the flyer cos of the blinding light coming from the floating platform. Finally they decided to off it, and yayyy!   And on our way to the MRT... I like this shot of Yin Xuan! HAHAHA funny max! And one last picture of my cutie cakes!!! Awesome day out with the girls trying new food and going to "new" places!!! And a fantastic birthday celebration! :D <3 - If you've realised, I went to do my hair! Got it rebonded and cut my fringe! Happy is me!!! |
