Last sem of school has started, 2 weeks ago. Graduation feels so close!!! Still remember counting down the number of months left till graduation when I was in Year 1 (36 months), now... I'm just technically 4 more months till I unofficially graduate! ^^
So after 8 months of not seeing ABE, my school has now become this:
 Truly built environment. No more emptier FC1, or yums yong tau foo. Couple of things that have happened over the past 2 weeks: Celebrated Pei Min's 19th Birthday with a cake! Also had sushi at Shin Tokyo after our site visit at Archifest. But the service was so meh, and the sushi wasn't fantastic. We only had a few varieties, they only made newer varieties when we were about to leave :(   Playing at the swing @ Archifest lol 
Then came the long weekend, really spent some quality time with people :)
Went for the Wedding Dress Exhibition @ National Museum with the boy, since it was free admission.
But frankly speaking, it was quite a letdown. The more I looked, the more they looked like curtains. I don't know how to appreciate old Victorian style dresses.
Then we took a long walk to Fort Canning Park to try the cakes @ The Fabulous Baker Boy. Got to know about them during site visit at Archifest,
Got to chill over red velvet cake, latte and iced tea yums. Cake was little pricey, but yums. The iced tea was nice tooooo.
 ♥ Celebrated Diana's birthday on Saturday! She sprained her ankle, so we gave her a surprise at her doorstep!!  And... I did my (last) NAPFA in school!!! Gosh totally aching right now. And I found out I got a bronze just because of my 2.4km ~.~ meh.  But so proud of my classmates and myself for completing everything!!! Now to endure the muscle aches...  Alright... will be back in a couple of weeks time!

Picnic with Bimchies today at Marina Barrage!
 One last outing together before school starts next Monday T.T The girls were worried and praying that it wouldn't rain today so that we can go for our picnic cus it started raining at their side and it was rather gloomy the entire afternoon. But the gods above loved us, so it didn't rain at all, despite some lightning later in the evening.  Putting my polaroid to good use again today! :) Taking forever to finish the films that I got from my birthday lol. Taught the girls how to play daidee, and we played till the sky turned dark, and talked talked talked. 
All the pretty girlssssssss ;)
  Took a slow long walk to MBS on our way home and passed through Gardens By the Bay. So pretty at night!!! Had to take touristy shots! 
Sigh, can't believe that holidays are ending. I haven't done anything the entire holidays!!! Not ready to be back in school after 8 long months of not studying...

Very exciting post (to me) to share!!!
Went for my first ever trip to USS with the boy yesterday!!! YAY!!!
I know I very suaku, open so long already, and I only went there for the first time yesterday, and this is excluding the time I went to Hollywood after Hours last New Year.
Woke up really early to meet the boy so that I could be there as early as possible, and we reached at 10.30am lol. And we definitely went on a perfect day, it being a weekday and a Tuesday, the entire theme park was considerably empty!!!
 Woohooooooo our ticketsssssss  My tour guide for the day ♥ Don't know why he's looking so serious... when we were just following the path hahahahaha 
I insisted on doing calming rides first because I wasn't ready for any thrill YET. So we went to on a crate adventure and see Madagascar!
 Watched Donkey Live and Shrek 4-D, and here's my future home ^^  Love this pictureeeee   Then we came to Jurassic Park and I was happy cus I could finally take my water ride!!! I've been seeing the advertisement on TV, I wanna take it so bad! But the boy insisted that I will get wet, and I had no "protective gear" so we couldn't go and I was sad :(  So instead we went to the stupid canopy flyer omg hate it hate it. It started flying, I thought it was supposed to be slow and I screamed like an idiot. It's supposed to let you see a bird's eye view of everything, shouldn't it be slow and crawling??? And I couldn't scream loudly cus I thought it'll be embarrassing in case people heard me. Then after that, the boy said we'll go for the water ride cus he said he'll buy me a poncho yay!!!!!! But... the stupid vending machine inside wasn't cooperating and refuses to eat the money nor dispense any ponchos so we had to go on the ride without one. Until... the boy went to ask an auntie who just came back from her ride if we could buy her poncho, and she gave it to me for free! Omg so nice of her!!! But we threw the poncho away after that. Ultimate regret! Cus I forgot that we may go on the ride again, or at least bring home something from USS!!! Oh well...  But who knew... I ended up sitting in the middle and I could be totally dry. LOL the one who's totally wet is:  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA But but they have drying pods to dry you at a hefty price of $5 whut, I wonder why people pay for it. Not like it's gonna make you smell nicer after being splashed by smelly water (omg it really stinks) and the sun's scorching hot, you will be dry in no moment for free!  YAY fun ride fun ride!!  Egypt egypt egypt! Went on a treasure hunt jeep ride to dry the boy up!  hahaha my mustache man staring at an invisible man  And it was time for the mummy ride!!! Omg I was freaking out and thinking what the hell I was doing my life to scare myself like this. Apparently some ang moh also injured his neck from the ride o.o Also there was not much crowd in the entire USS, we practically didn't have to queue for all the rides. We just weaved through all the queuing lines, get on the ride and get zoomed away. No time to prepare myself!!!  Shut my eyes and screamed really loudly ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, the stupid boy said his ears hurt wth. So we caught some street dance performance to chill~~~ 
Then... Transformers' ride!!!
  Once again, no queue!!! What a surprise!!! Totally empty!  Never watched transformers so I didn't know who the characters are, or what they were doing. Just a bunch of metal hitting each other hahahaha. Still love Japan's Spiderman one the most!!! Had churros, and chilled somewhere cus I wasn't feeling so good after the Mummy ride @.@ And we realised it was kinda early, we sort of finished touring all the areas in 4 hours!  Then... it was timeeeee for Battlestar Galactica... Okay, confession to make: I wasn't exactly VERY exctied before coming to USS cus I was contemplating for a long time whether I should take the Battlestar Galactica. Truth be told, I haven't exactly taken a roller coaster ride in my entire 19 years of life because I have no guts and I'm scared of flying in the air at high speeds (other than an aeroplane, that is). After thinking for a long time, I decided I'll go for the Human ride so that I make my money worth. I watched and observed many times how the stupid ride goes before I went on it, so to be sure that I won't get a heart attack later on lol. I sound so stupid.  I kept hugging the boy before the ride, and also secretly hating him inside for making me do this and told him not to talk to me hahahahaha. Good thing the entire row only had the 2 of us, because I know I screamed really loudly AHHHHHHHHHH. Had to nomz after that cus I was finally feeling hungry after 1 whole day and this few pieces of chicken fingers is soooo expensive, but tasted so good ^^  Caught the WaterWorld Show pewpewpew~  And... guess what. I decided to be courageous again... And went for the Human ride the second time lolol. I already told myself I'm never going for the Cylon ride and the boy can go take it by himself all he wants, and enter the single rider lane lol #emo So we both went for the ride again... This time feeling not so scared anymore~ But I still screamed really loudly hahahaha. There were a bunch of kids behind me, I thought they will scream with me, but they didn't. So I guess I was the only one screaming throughout the entire ride. I should get Best Screamer Award. ~.~ The best thing was that I saw a flash from somewhere during the ride and thought it was lightning so I screamed "GOT LIGHTNING" and went back to screaming. Until the boy told me the flash was from the camera lololololol #stupid #bimbo Here's me with my photo of achievement lolol  Done with all the rides, so we walked around, caught shows, enter all the shops to squeeze the soft toys and gasp at price tags, so that we can maximise very single minute till they close lol. Hi, meet my prince charming hahahahaha ♥  Was dying by end of day, making circles in USS for 8 hours. But nonetheless, thank you ♥ for making my day!!!

Food post!!!
Haven't been doing much the entire holidays (sigh). Have only been driving a lot... Quite thankful that I have no more driving lessons for the holidays cus driving every weekday for 1 month straight is too much. So other than that, I've been occasionally meeting the girls for some food and drinks during the weekends.
After dinner at Timbre last Friday to celebrate Tzu Ying's birthday with Jong and Cheng,
I met up with Gwee and Vivian on Sunday for Teoheng, Astons, followed by dessert and some drinks at The Garden Slug. What a way to spend Mooncake festival.
Ordered their signature brownie popsicles...
 and The Village Tiramisu to share. 
And thanks to Foursquare, both Vivian and me were entitled to free drinks from The Garden Slug so we ordered a hoegarden (which tasted like shit) and a toffee apple cider, which tasted so good! New love!!!
Much much better than beer which sucks now, I never want to drink it anymore, whereas this is so sweet and tastes like soda yums.
Just yesterday, we went on a fruit beer hunt cus Tzu Ying wanted to try, and I found Heart of House @ Tiong Bahru through google, so I met Tzu Ying and Gwee there for dinner. Very satisfied with my find!!! They have a wide range of beers and they even go the extra mile to describe the aroma and taste of the beer, very good for noobs like me.
My portion of pear cider. Good whole 500ml bottle, I had to hold in my pee on the way home lol. I was okay with the taste but the other 2 said they don't like the pear taste, maybe because their lychee fruit beer was sweeter and nicer.
Pumpkin with carrot soup, yums. Fell in love with this soup ever since I tried it in Paul @ Dubai. Who would ever expect I will like pumpkin soup hahahahaha
 BBQ St Louise Pork Ribs with butter corn and fat fries. The pork ribs was so addictive omg, I didn't expect myself to finish all. And the corn... too good to be wasted.  My set of cutlery on the left with the really fat knife and fork, as compared to the normal sized one.  We had strawberry cheesecake for dessert too, I can't remember why I didn't take a picture, but it wasn't that much to rave about. Not your ordinary looking cake because it had yogurt ice cream and whip cream at the side, and the cake was round. But definitely can get better ones elsewhere! But overall... Food was good, and the service was fantastic too! Plus, no GST and service charge!!! Saved us quite a few monies there, while still enjoying good food and service. Okay, that's all for my food post. Here's a picture of my newly manicured nails I did few days ago at Far East. Was looking for the colour I did in Vietnam, but I guess this was much redder than the one I had previously. But very worth it for $5!  |
