Last blogged @ 1:06 AM TAIWAN DAY 5!!! Wulai's the best hotel we stayed at, so the breakfast should also be one of the best. Standard continental buffet. But I kinda think that it's one of the worst breakfast. Don't have delicious porridge :(  This day, we went back to somewhere near Wulai Old Street cos I wanted to see the waterfalls!!! (which we didn't get to see the previous day) There's this small little train that you can take from the entrance and it will bring you to the waterfalls! I wanted to try it so badly!!! But... UJ and YY insisted that they wanted to drive us up :/ even though they were not interested in seeing the waterfalls. They wanted to drop us there, and then they could go back to try the hot springs again. Seriously, sometimes I wonder why they are in Taiwan for. They never seem interested in anything. And they have prolly travelled around the entire world before already. Hmm... And then, BYY and Carynn are always lazy to walk. Urgh... But anyway, I get to see the waterfall!!!        Try spotting a face here!   And you can take this cable car up, then it'll bring you to another waterfall! I wanted to take it too!!! Walau, I got a lot of regrets sia. So as you know, I didn't take it -.- BYY said it looked too scary, machiam it's gonna fall. But you can see the waterfall from the cable car! Pretty only!!! :(  So to get up to the other waterfal, UJ and YY decided they will drive us up there too. But apparently, we got lost and passed by this homestay. And it's kinda famous cos the lady boss collects lots of unique stuff and it was featured in their magazine, so we stopped to see.  Taking a photo with her. She's really friendly and humorous!!! And she kept laughing at her own jokes. LOL.  She told us that if we come to Wulai, we must go to the 内洞森林. Otherwise, we can never say that we have been to Wulai. So we gave up finding the waterfall and went there, since there was prettier waterfalls inside. But again, when we reached there, we were told that to see the waterfall, we must trek for about an hour plus. Then as usual, everyone sian diao. So they asked for my opinion. Like of course I wanted to see it! But if nobody else wanted (except me and mum), then wouldn't I be wasting everyone else's time if I insisted to go? Plus they were not the least interested. So they made a U-turn and drove back. And on the way, I made a sarcastic remark like "So we haven't been to Wulai before" - Tadah, and they decided to go trek afterall. Except for UJ and YY who wanted to go back to their hot springs. - Filling up our "insurance" forms.  So we're supposed to see three different waterfalls. We couldn't see the 4th and 5th one cos they were too far away.           We were supposed to figure out what birds there were. And we kept laughing at the one that would make “鸡狗乖一”         After an hour's long trek, we went back to have lunch. I just found out about this: If you watched Love Buffet aka 爱似百汇, you will realise in the last few episodes, Xiao Feng and the other girls came to this hotel for hot spring also!!! ^^  Went to this restaurant for lunch!  My standard bowl of noodles (担仔面）and 鲁肉饭!  The adults went outside to enjoyu the view...  and I'm inside... busy eating ^^  Went back to the hotel to check out, and went to visit the toilet. And check out this super cool tap! Spent at least 5 minutes inside playing with it!  So we leave Wulai, and move up to Taipei!!! Finally!!! And first thing is to, check in to our service apartment! It's super comfy and awesome like our small little house that resembles a lot like IKEA! We have our living room... with a 42 inch tv (I think)  A dining room...  Our own kitchen...  The master bedroom...  And another tv ^^  And another room that BYY stayed in!!!    And this is the apartment that UJ, YY and Carynn stayed in. It's a different theme also. And the best thing is that, we live in the Central area! It's like our City Hall, or Orchard Road, so easily accessible. We have the MRT, Bus interchange and High Rail (Bullet Train) Station right at our doorstep!Anyway, that night, I suggested having Japanese dinner cos I wanted to go see Makiyo's Japanese restaurant that was featured in 回家走走 and YY was very keen about it, so we researched and made a booking. Tadah! The restaurant is huge!!! 3 floors! NINJA!!!    And this is the menu in a scroll!  We only managed to make a booking at the first floor. Kinda sad cos I wanted to go to the 2nd floor cos they had the cool door! The first floor only had a few tables and nothing :(  UJ borrowed the sword from the waitress!  And our food!!! We ordered the set meal for 6 and it was A LOT. Plus expensive too...     But before we started eating, the waitress asked if we wanted to move up to the 2nd floor for our dinner! Tink Tink!!! Happy me!!! UJ said it was cos we spent quite a lot so they bothered asking us, instead of the other people who were sitting downstairs. Yay! And lo and behold... The cool water door!!!     This thing was awesome!  And we ordered sake!!! I had a drink too ^^  Our friendly and very funny waitress.     And then came the live show. We were all very full by then. So we joked, saying that we will continue eating after the performance. So at least some of the food would be digested. Who knew... There were 2 dances, whom we thought were ah guas. Well, they really looked like! But, ahem, they were girls. The first song was purely on the stage dancing by themselves.  Then by the 2nd song, they started coming round to the tables and touching men -.- Then some tikos really very happy and very shiok. By then, UJ had already left the table to go hide in the toilet. And for the 3rd song, as described by the waitress, they will "invite an audience to have some interaction with them". And she promised that it wouldn't be too over. Well, the dancers went up to the 3rd floor, grabbed 2 guys... Came back down and started doing a striptease. Hmm...  And to think the guy looked quite decent and 宅男. He was stripped till he was left with his boxers and the dancer kept pouring ice all over him. I'm still underage!!! But according to YY, the other guy on the other side refused to have his pants removed. At least that guy has some decency. And finally, the stripdance ended and we were all in rude shock. So much for saying that we wanted to digest our food. More of a loss of appetite. And we kept hurrying for dessert to be served so that we could leave the place quickly. But then, came the magician... So he performed some tricks. Yadayada...  And after he left, the 2 dancers were going round the tables playing games with the customers. But we refused. So too bad!!!And then, dessert arrived. Very happy. Cos we thought we could finally leave.  Then!!! The waitress came with this bucket lucky dip stuff. So I made a lucky dip! And very very luckily won this peachy alcohol thingy that was in 24 test tubes worth NTD900! Oh! Biggest prize that existed!!! Okay very happy!!! Drink drink drink!!! No doubt, that thing tastes awesome!!! Too bad I didn't finish the remaining few cos I was scared I would get drunk :P  I think our dinner lasted at least 3 hours. They keep making you do things. So busy. And what a adventurous dinner :O Next up! Shilin Night Market!!!  Picture of the illegal hawkers running for their lives when the police comes. And it's amazing how they do it so systematically. The don't literally run! But instead, they have headphones on, so I think someone will inform them and then they will all wriggle into the small little alleys and return a few minutes later. And they do this a million times the entire night.  So we shopped till almost 12 midnight. And thankfully my 豪大大鸡排 was not closed yet!!! And they increased the price by NTD5 bucks!!!  Hur hur so delicious. But it was so huge that I only finished 1/5 of the entire chicken?! Nobody wanted to share with me, so no choice, the chicken was thrown away the next day :(  And my NTD150 worth of strawberries! S$7.50 worth of strawberries in my stomach! I bargained for it man! It was originally NTD200 and 3/4 cup full only! But the very auntie me, got it at NTD150 and full cup!!! Harharhar!!! And if you wanted condensed milk, must add money. But I got it for free also!!! I think the auntie that sold it to me must have think I must be mad and hated me to the core. Hurhurhur.   And while I was feasting on my supper and watching tv, I caught 世界正美丽 featuring Singapore and durians!!! Omg nomnomnom!!! Eating Taiwan food and watching Singapore durians! Misses!!!  Oh btw, I told BYY that I would let her have the tv in the living room, and I will watch the one in the bedroom. But... that never happened. I always hog the tv in the living room.
