Which means I'm kinda bored now, so I think I will do a random post.

1. Let's start simple.

I'm Shermin. My Chinese name is Qi Qi, 琪琪.

My name was supposed to be shi min (omg sounds so awful, thank god mum didn't name me that). So my English name was a direct translation from that.

2. I'm a very clumsy person.

At 18, I still drop my food (always and forever), still knock into things, even though they are right in front of me.

Which leads me to the third point...

3. I can't cook.

If you follow me on twitter, you would have known that I burnt my baked potato while using the microwave to heat it up. I have no interest in cooking or whatsoever. I THOUGHT of baking, oh, dead and gone. Never got started and don't think I will. I can't be a homemaker.

4. But I love eating.

Who doesn't, seriously? But I believe that food is what brings people together lol. I meet my friends to eat most of the time. I didn't really care about going around to try new foods last time, but I think the popular girls have since made me a food glutton.

I stalk ladyironchef's blog sometimes and write down cool places to eat at. I'm slowly striking them off my list ;)

Places with good ambiance attracts me a lot.

Ah yes, but I'm also a fussy eater. And I eat more greens than meat :)

5. I'm skinny.

Ok, now I'm a lot better than last time. But yay to high metabolism rate, cos at the rate I eat, and the amount of time I spend sleeping, I think I should be a fat girl by nature :D Teeheeeeee.

6. I'm lazy.

HAHAHA ok I'm lazy to the extent that I will stop eating, not because I'm full, but because I'm lazy to chew :P

A corner of my room is definitely in a mess. I DO pack my room (whenever I feel like it), but after a few days, it gets messy again (LOL). This is the same as my tv console. Mum always nags me to pack it, but... I prefer to leave things around at my own convenience. I think going to the room, opening the drawers to get my things are a chore.

I do not know where I get this gene from. Apparently, my parents are both neat people :O

I'm an individual myself :D

7. I have never taken a roller coaster in my entire 18 years of life.

I admit, I have no guts.

I can take thrills like slides from a 10 storey high level down, but not a roller coaster.

I always grab on to mum for dear life.

I promise, I'll try one ride on my Genting trip this time round.

8. I HATE snakes. Like really really afraid of them.

Nobody knows how I got this phobia from.

They are just gross, disgusting and eeeeeeeeeeew.

I'm so scared of them it's not even funny. Kay 'nuff said.

9. I LOVE Taiwan.

I love taiwanese dramas, I love Mike He, and I love Taiwan's food, and I always say I want to try staying there for maybe a year.

I've been there twice, but I'll never get enough of it. I get very excited when people talk about Taiwan. Mum thinks I'm crazy. She says I don't know Taiwan enough (their history, politics, culture) to even qualify to say I like it. It's all the social media.

I used to think about marrying a Taiwanese guy (but apparently... they all... look kinda weird), so I've since aborted that thought.

Got kinda excited when I found out that my new aunt is a Taiwanese, but seems like I'll never be close to her, so forget about wanting to go there to find her.

10. I always seem very mean and fierce, but actually I cry very easily too.

Actually I'm mean, sometimes too hot tempered and impatient for my own good. One of the most significant change of growing up, cos I definitely wasn't like this in the past.

But if anyone openly scolds me, I actually will feel scared and cry. HAHAHA. I'm scared when mum scolds me, I'm scared when I do something wrong. So that means that... there's still a very young small little girl within me :)

11. I blush very easily.

I don't blush only when I'm shy. I blush when I laugh really hard. And it's not difficult to do that.

12. I'm a very anti-social person at home. I don't hang around with cousins. I never play with them, rarely talk to them, much less go out with them. I think I found it amazing when I see my friends go out with their cousins. I only hang out with my friends! :O My cousins are close to each other, but not me. #foreveralone

I stick with the adults, and just sit there quietly, all to myself for a few hours.

13. I'm not vain.

I don't think this is a good thing HAHAHA.

Wait, this doesn't mean that I'm sloppy. It just means... I'm not all into fashion and expensive clothes. I don't do cosmetics, maybe the only thing I indulge in is nail polish.

I used to hate combing my hair.

I shop for cheap stuff, especially cheap shoes trololololol. I see the price more than anything else, tyvm.

I bargain whenever I can. Cheap thrill cheap thrill.

14. I'm a major IT idiot. I think I'm smart enough to know how to use my handphone and my com. YAY.

15. I like walking alone in the dark, when it's all quiet.

Then I start imagining myself getting robbed, getting killed, or getting pulled away to somewhere and...

I just walk slowly and look at stuff.

16. I not very comfortable with change. I don't like to throw things away, especially old clothes and shoes. But that also doesn't mean that I'm treasure my stuff a lot. Normally, I just pack them away and leave them somewhere lying, forgotten. I'm weird and bad like that.

17. I think I'm slightly deaf. I don't like phone calls, cos I tend to make people repeat what they just said many many times, and I can still not understand. Phone calls can cause me distress. HAHAHA.

.

18. I used to be very talkative. So bad, till my ah ma tapes my mouth. :(

I still am talkative, and sometimes I talk without thinking so I hate it when I do that. Bleah. Now, I just try to remind myself to think think think before I speak, or just try to shut up (though sometimes it just fails).

19. I'm going to go take a nap now. I always think that when I grow up, I will regret sleeping so much now. I think I'm such a boring person. I think I'm just wasting my life.

20. I wrote this because I read Shiberty's blog, so I thought I can just come up with random things to talk about. I think more than half of what I just typed isn't new to everyone, but I think that's all I can think about.
